ARIA announces £10-£500K grants (36-month projects) for radical approaches to programmable plants.
So if you have an idea which is way, way, way, outside the box; makes people say ‘that’s impossible’ and feels almost science fiction- this is perfect for you.
🌾🚀The call specifically looks to answer: How can we use engineer biology to program a plant to do exactly (and anything) what we want them to do?
Best thing about ARIA funding? The more radical the idea, the more ambitious the project the better with early-stage ideas not just welcome, but actively encouraged.
